What's in it — and why
HyaClear 7 — Multi-weight hyaluronic acid
Five molecular weights, each penetrating to a different skin depth. Most HA products use one molecular weight — it sits on the surface and calls it hydration. We use five. Small molecules go deep. Large molecules stay at the surface. As cells plump with water, pores visibly tighten. We use five weights because one doesn't finish the job. Clinically proven concentration.
Pilisoft — Hair growth inhibitor
Interrupts the follicular signal that triggers regrowth. With consistent use, the time between shaves gradually lengthens — think every other day instead of every day. Subtle, real, and backed by clinical data we haven't exaggerated.
Aquaxyl™ — Patented sugar-derived hydration complex
Doesn't just attract water to skin like standard HA — activates your skin's own water management system. Reinforces barrier function, builds water reserves, improves circulation within the epidermis. Short and long-term hydration from a single ingredient.
Rosa Damascena Flower Water — Real rose water
The second ingredient by weight, not a trace amount. Natural toner and anti-inflammatory. Your skin is absorbing rose water, not just plain water.
Witch Hazel Water — Natural post-shave astringent
Third ingredient by weight. Tightens pores, reduces redness, calms post-shave irritation. Incidentally, it's what good aftershave has always been built on.
Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate — Licorice root anti-inflammatory
Calms post-shave redness at the source. Pairs with witch hazel to make the first 30 seconds after shaving the best your skin feels all day.
Panthenol (B5) — Skin repair
Accelerates recovery of the skin barrier post-shave. Keeps legs soft between shaves.
Phenoxyethanol-free preservation system
Preserved with sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate, and 1,2-hexanediol. A deliberate choice. Costs more to formulate. We made it anyway.
What we left out — and why
A common preservative linked to skin sensitization and irritation. We chose a more expensive phenoxyethanol-free system instead.
No. 1 cause of post-shave irritation. We chose skin over scent.
Petroleum-derived. Creates a barrier that prevents absorption — the opposite of what we're doing.
Unnecessary preservatives. Our formula uses modern, globally approved alternatives.
Creates the illusion of smooth skin without actually hydrating it.
Drying and irritating on freshly shaved skin.
Stripping and drying. No place in a post-shave product.
