The Smooth is water-based. There is no oil phase in it, which is why it absorbs in about thirty seconds instead of sitting on top of your skin.
What the working parts do
- Gymnema Sylvestre Leaf Extract — this is Pilisoft. It works on the hair follicle, extending its natural resting phase. With consistent use regrowth comes back finer and slower. Reversible if you stop.
- Sodium Hyaluronate — hyaluronic acid at more than one molecular weight, so it hydrates at more than one depth.
- Glycolipids — barrier support, so shaving takes less out of your skin each time.
- Xylitylglucoside, Anhydroxylitol and Xylitol — moisture retention.
- Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Allantoin, Panthenol — the soothing part.
Scent
There is no fragrance or parfum in it. What you can smell is the rose flower water and the botanical extracts. If your skin reacts to lavender or chamomile, they are both in here below one percent — patch test first.

Water (Aqua), Rosa Damascena Flower Water, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Water, Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Extract, Glycerin, Isopentyldiol, Glycolipids, Panthenol (Provitamin B5).
The following are present at a concentration not exceeding 1% and may be listed in any order: Pentylene Glycol, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Sodium Benzoate, Xylitylglucoside, Anhydroxylitol, Citric Acid, Sodium Citrate, Potassium Sorbate, Xylitol, Allantoin, 1,2-Hexanediol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Gymnema Sylvestre Leaf Extract, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Flower Extract.
Where it goes
Anywhere you shave, below the neck. Formulated for body skin and not tested for facial use, so we don’t recommend it on your face.
