Privacy Policy

Bellacqua Beauty LLC (“Bellacqua,” “we,” “us”) operates bellacqua.beauty. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what we do with it — in plain language, because that’s how we do everything.
What we collect
When you buy something: your name, email address, and shipping address. Your payment details — card number, billing information — go directly to Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your card number.
When you join our email list: your email address, and anything you choose to tell us.
When you start checking out: your email address, at the point you enter it to begin checkout. We use it to send your receipt and shipping updates, and — if you don’t finish the order — to send you at most two emails with a link back to your cart. Every one of those has an unsubscribe link that works on the first click, and we stop after two whether you unsubscribe or not.
When you visit the site: standard analytics information — pages viewed, approximate location, device type, how you found us. This comes through Google Analytics and Meta’s advertising tools (see “Advertising” below).
When you email us: whatever you send us, which we keep so we can actually help you.
What we use it for
- Fulfilling your order: charging your card (Stripe), printing your shipping label (EasyPost), and sending it via USPS
- Order emails: confirmation, shipping updates, and a reminder when you’re likely running low — sent through Klaviyo
- Marketing emails, if you’ve joined the list — every one has an unsubscribe link that works on the first click
- Understanding whether our site and ads work, so we spend less on ads that don’t
- Answering you when you write to us
Who we share it with
Only the services that make the store run: Stripe(payments), EasyPost and USPS (shipping),Klaviyo (email), Google Analytics (site analytics), and Meta (advertising measurement). Each receives only what it needs to do its job.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent it, trade it, or share it with anyone for their own marketing. Ever.
Advertising
We use Meta’s pixel and Conversions API to measure whether our ads lead to purchases. This means Meta learns that a purchase or page visit happened, associated with its own identifiers. You can limit ad tracking through your browser and device settings, and through Meta’s ad preferences.
Cookies
We use cookies for analytics and advertising measurement as described above — not for anything else. Your browser settings let you block or clear them; the store works fine either way.
How long we keep it
Order records: as long as we’re required to for tax and accounting purposes. Email list: until you unsubscribe. Analytics: per Google’s and Meta’s standard retention windows.
Your choices and rights
Email hello@bellacqua.beauty to ask what we have about you, correct it, or delete it. We’ll handle it directly — no forms, no verification maze — within 30 days. Depending on where you live (including California), you may have specific legal rights to access and deletion; the email works the same regardless.
Children
Our site and products are for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy meaningfully, we’ll update the date at the top. We’re not going to quietly redefine anything — that’s the kind of thing this brand exists to not do.
