# Aftershave For Women Doesn't Exist. Here's Why That's A Problem.

You've been standing there your whole life.

After you shave, while the lotion absorbs. Waiting to get dressed. Waiting to stop feeling damp and sticky. Waiting for a product to do what it promised, on a timeline that works for your morning — not the one written on the back of the bottle.

That wait is so familiar it stopped feeling like a problem.

It's not.

Michelle didn't set out to build a skincare company. She set out to get dressed faster.

She'd just shaved. Her usual lotion was sitting on the counter. And the thought of standing there for ten minutes — again — was more than she could take. So she grabbed the only other thing in the bathroom. Her husband's aftershave. Applied it to one leg.

Thirty seconds later, that leg was dry. The other one — the lotion leg — was still wet.

She stood there for a moment, doing math.

Why does this exist for men, and nothing like it exists for us?

Here's what nobody in the industry wants to say plainly: body lotion was designed to sit on your skin. The oil base is intentional. It creates a surface barrier. It retains moisture by staying put — which is why it takes so long to absorb. That's the formula working as designed.

The problem is, that design was never meant for a woman who just shaved and has somewhere to be.

Aftershave works on a different principle. The base is water. It absorbs because water-based formulas move through freshly shaved skin fast. Men's grooming figured this out 80 years ago, for men getting dressed after shaving their faces.

Nobody applied that logic to women's legs. Not because it wouldn't work. Because nobody asked.

Ash spent twelve formulations figuring out how to do it right — not just fast, but with the actives that matter post-shave. Multi-weight hyaluronic acid. A hair growth inhibitor. A barrier-support complex.

The twelfth formula absorbed in 30 seconds.

That's The Smooth.

Set a timer. Try it on one leg. Give it 30 seconds.

The other leg is waiting.
